It’s been confirmed this morning that Eastern Airways will be withdrawing its crew base from the Isle of Man.
There was speculation after the announcement that online bookings would cease at the end of August.
The airline has been serving the island for five years, with routes to Aberdeen, Newcastle and Birmingham but they are closing its crew base and removing its based aircraft.
Transport minister David Anderson says the airline has been making a loss for some months.
