A motorcyclist is still recovering after suffering severe brain injuries after a car pulled out in front of him during last year's Manx Grand Prix.
Peter Poole-Wilson of Ballamurphie Park in Glen Vine appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 82-year-old admitted causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care and attention following the crash on Peel Road in Marown on August 27 last year.
Poole-Wilson was fined £1,650 and banned from driving for 12 months as well as being ordered to pay £50 costs.
