A new electric bus is being trialled on the Island's roads.
In a post on social media, Isle of Man Transport says the vehicle is already being used extensively across the UK.
During its visit to the Island, the bus will see how well it suits the terrain and public transport needs, but won't be placed in general service.
IOM Transport says having the vehicle will provide an 'important insight' into alternative techonology.
The trial also comes as Bus Vannin explores options around the future of local public transport.
