Electricity, water and sewerage rates will rise

Electricity, water and sewerage rates are set to rise.

Manx Utilities has today published news of price increases - which will come into effect from April 1st.

Electricity and water rates will rise by 2.2 per cent - equating to around £3 more a month for an average consumer.

Rates for water are partly due to the sewerage hike up to 61.29p in the pound.
