The Island's emergency services are gearing up to use a groundbreaking mobile app to help find people in remote areas.
The Emergency Services Joint Control Room says it'll soon launch a project to map Island addresses using What3Words.
The app uses three short words to pinpoint locations to within 3 metres, and is already used around the world to help during emergencies.
The ESJCR says its project will involve police, as well as the fire and ambulance services.
