The Department of Social Care have given an update on their efforts to provide young people with learning disabilities employment opportunities.
The Government have been leading the way with regards to creating these opportunities since the Disability Employment Service was established.
Currently the Eastcliffe Resource Centre and the Greenfield Garden Centre are the two facilities providing meaningful employment for those in need after they have finished school or college.
It's considered that through seeking full time employment it will enable the individuals to live full and rewarding lives.
Manx MENCAP recently donated £30,000 to help develop the supported employment services further.
