Farmer’s are being asked to do their bit to ensure the countryside is kept clean throughout the impending springtime.

The scheme is a joint venture involving Department’s of Infrastructure and Environment, Food and Agriculture, the Waste Management Unit are also involved.
Previous similar schemes have resulted in over 200 tonnes of plastics being removed from the countryside.
The drop off points will begin taking the waste materials from the beginning of May.
