Ferry crossings could be called off

The Steam Packet Company says some ferry sailings may be disrupted tomorrow in the face of poor weather.

The Ben my Chree's 8.45am sailing from Douglas to Heysham and her 2.15pm return trip are both under threat.

The company says both sailings could be postponed or cancelled and a final decision will be made by 7am tomorrow.

Strong southeast winds could reach gale force by Saturday evening.
