Fire Crews were called out to in Douglas and Port Erin over the weekend.
On Facebook the Fire and Rescue Service said it visited properties because of wood burning stoves causing carbon monoxide incidents.
It says that it's important to know the signs of carbon monoxide poisoning because it's not always easy to spot when there has been a leak.
The gas doesn't have a smell and is highly toxic so the service urges people to install detectors.
