Fire Safety Team Urge Householders to Take Lightening Threat Seriously
Householders are being urged to make sure they have disconnected all of their electrics at night during the winter following on from the weekends thunder storm.
Fire Safety Officer Karl Kinvig has also urged people to install a fire alarm in their loft in the event of roof fires caused by lightening strikes.
More adverse weather is expected for the weekend; Karl also said people should be wary of the possibility of floods.
