Emergency Services had a busy morning, being called out to a chimney fire and helping a horse which had fallen into a ditch.
At around 9.30, Douglas crews were called to a property on Head Road in Douglas, and put out the chimney fire - no was one seriously injured in the incident.
Then, just a couple of hours later Ramsey firefighters went to the rescue of a horse that had fallen into a ditch in Sulby.
After speaking to the animal's owner and a vet, crews were able to recover the horse to solid ground using strops and lines.
