The Island's First Deemster and Clerk of the Rolls was sworn in at government house this week.
Deemster Andrew Corlett took the Oath of Allegiance and the Deemsters' Oath at the ceremony on Wednesday.
In his speech he said he's 'honoured' to take on the role and serve the Crown and people of the Isle of Man.
The Warrant of Appointment was presented by Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney.
