Police in the west of the Island are warning people they face a fine of up to £5,000 if they're caught fly-tipping.
The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team issued the statement on Facebook yesterday.
They describe it as a crime that 'blights communities and poses a risk to public health and the environment'.
Earlier this month, the western civic amenity site said it would start checking IDs to make sure people from out of the area aren't using it, after Bride Commissioners pulled out of the northern site.
