Port Erin Commissioners have submitted plans to use part of its office for the Isle of Man Food bank Southern Hub.
The Foodbank has been based at Port Erin Methodist Church since 2016 and has been looking for a new home while changes are being made within the church.
If the project is approved, the Rotary Club of Rushen and Western Mann will help to turn the office into a suitable space, hopefully by the end of the month.
The Southern Hub is currently supporting more than 40 families in the South of the Island, and say that with demand increasing, the extra space is needed.
