Football stars support soccer school

Famous faces from the footballing world are on the Island this week to coach youngsters interested in the sport.

Red Sports is running a specialist soccer school in Peel for children aged between seven and 17.

Yesterday former player, turned coach, Viv Anderson lent his support to the initiative - as well as providing a fun activity during half term talent scouts are trying to spot potential stars of the future.

The course is being delivered by ex-England captain Mark Wright - he says it's a good way to prove football is a sport accessible to all:
