An ex-MHK will be the guest speaker at the next Positive Action Group meeting, looking into how the Island should be living within its means.
His talk will address the Island’s current situation and the fiscal challenges created by the ending of the VAT sharing arrangement with the UK.
In particular the meeting will ask the question how we can get from ‘where we used to be’ to ‘where we need to be’.
As part of a team who recently produced a review of the Scope of Government report, Edgar was seen as the ideal candidate to deliver the talk:
