The finer details of the appointment of the next Chief Minister were unveiled today.
On October 11th The President of Tynwald, Clare Christian MLC will summon the Court to a sitting for the election process to begin.

Proposals for the post of Chief Minister may only be made by Tynwald Members and must be submitted in writing and delivered to the Clerk of Tynwald by 5pm on Tuesday October 4th.
The nominees will be released to the press that evening, with statements from the individuals to follow on the 6th October.
The statements will be posted to the www.tynwald.org.im website.
