Bighearted Island residents have blasted past a fundraising target to help a man with dementia, who was targeted by criminals.
The 88 year old gave money to two men outside Marks & Spencer earlier this month - police say they're investigating the incident.
Margaret Cain of Douglas set up an online donations page to help the man.
The campaign originally aimed to reach £300, but so far has managed to raise £430 in just five days.
