The Mountain Road will close for a further day next week.
The three day closure - scheduled so the Department of Infrastructure could carry out paint lining was supposed to finish yesterday, but has now been extended.
The route will now shut on Tuesday, October 1 between 9.30am and 4.30pm.
The DOI says it's due to poor weather and a colision which has postponed the works.
