The Home Affairs minister says there is a gap in the medical needs for sexual assault victims.
In the House of Keys this week, Bill Malarkey MHK was quizzed by Garff MHK Martyn Perkins about the Department's plans for sexual offence cases.
In reponse, Mr Malarkey said it's a priority for victims to be treated in the right way.
He also said it is important that healthcare needs of victims are met.
