Good weather could bring aurora sightings

The Isle of Man could be in for a spectacular treats in its skies tomorrow.

Space weather forecasters say an uptick in solar activity means the northern lights could appear late tomorrow night.

The best time to see the phenomenon will be after 10pm on Friday if the weather remains clear.

The Island's Met Office says after a dull start the skies should clear, meaning we may get a good view of the aurora.
