Government accused of not helping bikers affected by washout

Head of Motorsport, Trevor Hussey has spoken to 3FM about the criticism levelled at Government for not offering help to bikers affected by the wash out at the end of race week.

Thousands of bikers were camping around the Island when the rains hit, leading to waterlogged tents and flooded facilities.

This led to a facebook campaign encouraging charitable locals to allow the bikers access to their homes for showers and use of their drying facilities.

Head of Motorsport Trevor Hussey told 3FM exactly why Government didn’t get involved.
