The government's confirmed it invested half a million pounds in a UK company which has gone bust.
A Freedom of Information request to the Department for Enterprise asked about government money in Lawbit, an online law firm which is being wound up with debts of around £6 million.
The department says it made two payments totalling £500,000 in January and December 2018 through the Enterprise Development Scheme.
It added as a secured creditor it's engaging in the process of winding the company up.
