A committee reviewing the government’s multi-million pound bailout of the Sefton Group will hear evidence from three ministers this week.
Chief Minister Allan Bell, Treasury Minister Eddie Teare and Economic Development Minister John Shimmin will appear before the Policy Review Committee.It was set up to look into the deal in which the struggling company was loaned £1.3m of public money and the government took ownership of the Middlemarch site on Lord Street for £3.2m.
The public hearing of the committee will take place at the Legislative Buildings on Thursday morning.
