Government will meet with directors of Ramsey Bakery tomorrow.
That's according to Chief Minister Alf Cannan who spoke in the House of Keys this morning.
It followed an urgent question from MHK for Ayre and Michael Tim Johnston - who asked what plans the government has to safeguard food security if the bakery closes.
After 50 years in business, Ramsey Bakery announced at the weekend - it's ceasing operations at the end of the month, including Mr B's.
In response, Manx government claimed it was not informed about the closure.
Now, Mr Cannan says they will meet with directors to discuss the organisation's future - in the hopes of getting a 'clearer picture'.
