Granada Switchover to Affect Handfull of Local Residents
The Island is being warned that a small number of Digital TV viewers may experience a disruption to their service in the coming months.
It’s anticipated that the disruption will only affect a very small number of Island viewers, predominantly those who receive their digital signal direct from Winter Hill in the UK.
It’s all to do with the Granada switchover, which will improve the signal strength for those receiving signal from Winter Hill.
The dates to retune have been set at 4th
November and 2nd December, once this has taken place more or less everyone on the Island will enjoy the same
strong signal strength.
