Guernsey flight schedules expected this week

Flights from the Isle of Man to Guernsey are expected to be available later this week.

Services will start operating from the middle of this month and will be run by Guernsey-based airline, Aurigny with the company stating previously a schedule is expected to be online by the end of this week.

It comes after a travel corridor between the two jurisdictions was announced last week, which Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, says will allow Manx holidaymakers to have somewhere else to visit this summer as well as bringing economic benefits to both Islands.

The agreement was reached after both the Isle of Man and Guernsey have gone several weeks without any new cases of Coronavirus and currently no active cases.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Guernsey - Gavin St Pier - has already expressed his happiness at the new air bridge, saying he's certain the Guernsey community will welcome it enormously.
