Police are investigating after two fire alarms were set off in the early hours of this morning.
Officers say the false alarms were called in Tynwald Street and Mona Street in Douglas between 1.15am and 1.30am when someone smashed glass plates to set them off.
Officers say fire crews were alerted needlessly and whoever was responsible was wasting the time of the emergency services, potentially diverting them from real emergencies.
They're now appealing for information - you can contact police on 631212.
