    Homeless struggle more at Christmas says charity

    Homeless people on the Isle of Man struggle more at Christmas than at any other time of the year. 

    That's the message from local charity Graih which helps people who find themselves without a roof over their head. 
     
    It says the reasons for this are 'extremely varied' and can stem from substance abuse, mental health issues and relationship breakdowns. 
     
    Last week the Island's first audit on homelessness and health was published - it focused on those who sleep rough, sofa surf and those living in unsuitable, temporary or insecure accommodation.
