    Honour - to begin filming tomorrow

    Production will commence tomorrow on the latest film to be shot on the Isle of Man.

    With an original working title of Pursuit it's now been confirmed that they have settled on the name Honour - the debut feature from BAFTA nominated writer-director Shan Khan.

    The film which stars top British talent Paddy Considine is described as a contemporary thriller tackling the contentious issue of honour killings. 

    During their three week stay in the Island, the production will spend approximately £500,000 in the local economy. In excess of 1,200 bed-nights, also around a dozen local crew positions and a minimum of four trainee positions will be generated by the film.

    CinemaNX are executive producers on the picture, the script has been developed with the assistance of the UK Film Council.
