The Island's Hospice has been praised for its 'strong team working culture' and treatment of patients in a new report.
The Care Quality Commission found the service to be effective, caring, responsive and well-led, but did make 11 recommendations for improvements.
Most of these suggestions were around storage of equipment and making sure employees had completed their training courses.
However, it was noted a strong culture of working together meant that employees, support groups and volunteers had effective relationships, delivering a 'caring and individual service.'
