A housing developer has applied for permission to build 320 houses on a large area of open land in Braddan.
Hartford Homes has unveiled plans for homes, a neighbourhood centre, primary school and retirement home on fields between Peel Road, Ballafletcher Road and Tromode Road.
The company, which says it's a potential purchaser of the land, says it would create the new development over five phases.
Almost 70 affordable homes would be built and the proposals for a school and care home would need a separate planning application.
