A Manx charity is donating toiletry gift bags to support patients who find themselves in Noble’s Hospital in an emergency.
'A Little Piece of Hope' has worked with senior nurses at both the Jane Crookall Maternity Unit and the Children’s Ward to produce the ‘Hug In A Bag’ sets.
They'll contain things like fluffy socks, nightwear, chocolate bars, a phone charger, smellies, face masks, sanitary products and small items of baby clothing.
A parent/child bag would include many of the same items, as well as a refillable water bottle, children’s toys and games, colouring books and pencils, and some Haribo sweets.
Helen Walmsley, Founder of A Little Piece of Hope charity, says the bags are designed to comfort people in frightening times.
