30 Point Deficit Between Hushovd and Cavendish
Thor Hushovd raced a convincing race in what's thought to be the toughest stage of the Tour De France yesterday – putting the green jersey out of the sights of Manx-man Mark Cavendish.
He won both of the days intermediate sprints putting himself 30 points clear of Cav.
In other news from yesterday’s stage Spain's Alberto Contador moved a step closer to clinching the yellow vest,
after winning the gruelling 17th stage, from Bourg St Maurice to Le Grand
Bornand.
