Inclusion programme to help young adults

Young adults with additional needs are being invited to take part in an inclusion programme.

Aimed at over 18s, the social, working and life experience initiative run by The Children's Centre starts its second phase in September.

It's set to help young people thrive in a countryside environment - giving them a sense of community and simulating a working situation.

Activities include animal husbandry, horticulture, team building, craft work, workshop skills, and using home-grown produce to cook their own meals.
