The inquest into the death of Ramsey man Neil Walker has been opened and adjourned today.
The 43-year old joiner and retained firefighter was involved in a road traffic collision in Lonan, close to Bulgham Rocks, on the 6th of this month.
He was pronounced dead at the scene - with a post-mortem confirming that he died due to multiple injuries.
Coroner of Inquests Jayne Hughes conveyed her condolences to Mr Walker's family and friends and released his body so that funeral arrangements can be made.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
