    Inquest opens into cyclist's death

    An inquest into the death of a cyclist opened at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.

    43 year old Matthew James McSevney died in Nobles Hospital on Thursday, October 5 following an incident on Poortown Road near Peel.

    Consultant pathologist Dr Christopher Clague said the cause of death was multiple injuries.

    Coroner of Inquests John Needham adjourned the hearing until a date to be fixed while police investigations continue.
