The Isle of Man and Liverpool are to ‘forge new opportunities for growth’ with the signing of a landmark agreement today.
A Memorandum of Understanding between the Isle of Man Government, Liverpool City Council and Liverpool City Region, will start a ‘new-era’ of cooperation between the regions.
Chief Minister Alf Cannan says that forging closer economic ties is a strategic priority and offers mutual benefits.
He says the agreement will improve the prosperity and wellbeing of their communities by strengthening economic, cultural and political ties.
