Island Dong deal brings in less than £100,000 in a decade

The government's had less than £100,000 in the last 10 years as it rents out part of our seabed to an energy company.

Infrastructure Minister Dr Michelle Haywood gave the figure in the House of Keys this week as she faced questions from Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas.

He wanted to know about money made from offshore energy agreements.

Dr Haywood revealed some information about a contract with Dong Wind Energy, which wants to build an offshore wind farm:
