Aurora watchers were treated to a show in Manx skies last night.
Increased solar activity meant the northern lights were visible on New Year's Day as skies cleared.
A number of people were out to see them, describing them as 'beautiful' and 'breathtaking'.
People have been uploading their photos of the phenomenon to Facebook.
