Island marks World Aids Day

Buildings on the Isle of Man will be turned red today to mark World Aids Day.

The Manx Rainbow Association is supporting the Isle of Man HIV Support Group to raise awareness.

It's holding a service at St Matthew's on the Quay in Ramsey at 6pm tonight - the swing bridge and courthouse in the town will be lit red for the occasion.

In addition an open day is being held at the GUM Clinic at Noble's Hospital between 10am and 2.30pm.
