    Island road tax to rise

Vehicle tax is set to go up by 3.2% next month.

Tynwald voted in favour of the move from Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer in Tynwald yesterday.

MHKs Clare Barber, Lawrie Hooper and Rob Callister however voted against it.

It means all motorbikes will now be charged a flat rate of £25 and vehicles more than thirty years old will also be charged the same fee.
