The Isle of Man Air Ambulance Service has partnered up with a UK-based operator.
A three-year contract for provision of a 24/7, year-round air ambulance link has been awarded to IAS Medical.
The firm began its term in Ocotber, using a Beechcraft KingAir 200 aircraft, based at Ronaldsway airport.
The air ambulance medical team transfers between 400 and 500 patients each year to the UK for treatment.
