An Island based company is competing for the 30 million dollar Google Lunar X prize.
Odyssey Moon Ltd is teaming up with Israeli based SpaceIL and according to many the team is the most likely to succeed in the race to the moon.
The Google Lunar X Prize challenges engineers and entrepreneurs from around the world to develop low-cost methods of robotic space exploration.
To win, a privately funded team must place a robot on the moon’s surface and transmit the images back to Earth.
