The Isle of Man is winning the battle with the Channel Islands in terms of economic prosperity.
That’s the view of Chief Minister Allan Bell who says we are coming out on top due to our ability to diversify.
Jersey and Guernsey have both experienced recession but the economy here continues to grow at between three and four per cent.
Mr Bell says it’s down to conscious efforts to broaden our economy over the last 20 years:
