Isle of Man Post Office launch Sir Winston Churchill stamps

To mark the 50th anniversary of his death a set of eight stamps celebrating his life have been released. 

 

The Post Office worked with the Churchill Archives Centre and the National Trust to compile the stamps which will be issued on the 2nd January.

 

It's not the first time he's been honoured on the Island - in July 1957 he was awarded the Freedom of the Borough of Douglas.
