A Douglas man who was caught carrying heroin and a pair of weighing scales has been jailed for three years and 11 months.
Police stopped 39-year-old Stuart Urquhart on Fairfield Terrace on February 4th - they searched him and found the drug which had a street value of £2,260.
He later pleaded guilty to possession of the Class A substance and possession of it with intent to supply.
Sentencing Urquhart at Douglas Courthouse today Deemster Montgomerie told him "I don't expect to ever see you in a court again".
