Jon Joughin has been elected as the new Councillor for Victoria Ward in Douglas.
Joughin received 206 votes to Robert Moore's 76 - the turnout for the election was only 9.8 per cent with 283 votes cast.
Joughin replaces newly elected MHK David Ashford in the role and will serve until 2020.
