A fire station in the north west of the Island has reached an important fundraising milestone.
The social club at Kirk Michael Station has now raised £60,000 from the series of initiatives across its recent history.
This week, Station Officer John Cashin presented a cheque for just under £2,900 to Sub Officer Alan Brew - the money has been generated from various events across last year.
The fire and rescue service says the support and generosity the teams receive from the community never ceases to amaze them.
