Less than a week to go for anxious A-Level students

The grades will determine if the 18 year olds have done enough to get into their chosen University.

There’s just under a week now until hundreds of A-Level students on the Island learn their fate, when they receive their all important final grades.

The grades will determine if the 18 year olds have done enough to get into their chosen University.

It’s the second year that they have the chance to achieve an A star grade.

It’s expected to be another record year with regards to pupils moving onto University with uncentertainty on the job market said to be a big factor in this.

The results will be available to collect on Thursday.

Jan Gimbert is the School Improvement Adviser for 11-19 year olds, she said next Thursday will see the culmination of 2 years hard work from both the pupils and teachers.
